MATER, Ecoactive Museum Boat

MATER is the last great Basque wooden tuna boat converted into an Ecoactive Museum Ship, with home port in Pasaia (Gipuzkoa), to bring closer and involve society in the care and protection of our environment. 

Captaining the boat is the ITSAS GELA - AULA DEL MAR association, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting respect, protection and, above all, the enjoyment of the sea.
