Atop a small hill at the town square, above the town center, we can see what once was the living home of the Lords of Zerain. The most spectacular part of Jauregi palace are the three walls that formed the tower house, made of stone ashlar. There's also a door with a gothic style arch with the inscription "Hail Mary, full of grace, bless us" in gothic letters.
Above this arch we can find the oldest coat of arms of Zerain, and at one side, a carving of unknown origin and meaning: "A sad sun, embraced by a quarter moon and surrounded by four eight tipped stars".
