Zadorra Etxea is an agricultural area adjoined to the old medieval quarter of Salvatierra-Agurain; a town which stands out due to its large number of noble coats of arms and manor houses. The house is easily accessed and very quiet with sports, cultural and commercial services just a walk away. This farm house is more than 200 years old, rehabilitated with ecological building materials; it has solar and thermal energy. Five double rooms are available with bathroom, Satellite TV and WI-FI, as well as a kitchen-living room exclusively for guest use and a large parking area and garden. Agurain has more than 4000 inhabitants and is about 20 minutes from Gasteiz and 1hour from Bilbao, Donostia and Iruñea. The Natural Parks of Aitzkorri-Arantz, Entzia and The Ornithological park of Mendixur (beside the beaches of Garaio) are 10 km away and the Urbasa Park in Nafarroa is only 20km away. Agurain has always been some somewhere people passed through, as can be seen by The Pilgrims Way to Santiago and the N-1 National Road Archaeological remains are in abundance; such as the dolmens at Sorginetxe and Aizkomendi, and the Cromlech at Mendiluze. Only 5 minutes away the Gothic painting at the churches of Gazeo and Alaitza can be seen. Additionally all the villages around have irrigation dams where birds are easy to spot. Autumn time is a firm favourite with wild mushroom collectors and is also when the ringdove passes through.
